Ciate Nails £9 each

I really love the Ciate polishes, not only because of the little satin bow that sits at the top of the bottle (even though this little detail definitely adds to the love) but also because I think they are a great quality brand. I love the fact that the length of the handle makes it easier to get a full coverage on every nail with one stroke and that the curve on the back of the bottle means it sits perfectly in your hand... all that aside, it also seems to last around 4-6 days on me, which is pretty good and they have a really great range of colours. At the moment I'm loving the blue 'Holiday Blues' and the red 'Dangerous Affair'

Body Scrub, & Other Stories, £7

& Other Stories is basically my main squeeze at the moment. I'm in love with all the paired back minimal pieces and sleek beauty products in equal measure and these body scrubs are no exception to the rule. I am already half way through the Moroccan Tea  flavour... is it weird that I called it a flavour?! so I was beyond delighted to receive this little tub of joy to try out.

Firstly, the packaging. I know it shouldn't be an important factor when picking beauty products, but for me it is. I'm obsessed with how chic this range is and love how nice they look stacked up in the bathroom (what a loser.) I also think for such an affordable product it feels really luxury and really made a difference to the texture of my skin. I loved the Morrocan Tea and I'm super excited to try this one out. 

I actually have a shopping list as long as my arm, I may do a 'wishlist' post later this week.

Products: Used, Use, Using

I have a stupidly large nail polish collection (something like 100) but at the moment both of us at Seamless are really loving Rimmel Nail polishes. Here I have a sample from the 60 seconds, Lasting Finish and Pro Collections.

60 seconds: I love this range of polishes for multiple reasons, firstly they have a great variety of colour...I had been searching for a particular type of nude that I hadn't been able to find anywhere and this was just the colour I'd been after. Secondly, and I think most importantly, the brush is a lovely thick wand that really does cover almost your entire nail in one stroke. I love this because it's great for when you need to do your nails in a rush as one coat is generally enough. Lastly, the super fast dry suits me perfectly. I don't know if its quite as quick as 60 seconds, but anything under 3 minutes is good with me!

Lasting Finish: Something I really like about Rimmel is that they are the type of brand that produces products that say what they do on the packaging. No fuss. Just does it. This polish, quite simply, lasts for a long time. I think I had this colour on for about 5 days before it started to chip, which is pretty amazing for me.

Pro: Brilliant quality for a high street (drug store) nail varnish. It left my nails looking as if I had been to the salon, super high gloss (without a top coat) and a really strong pigment to the colour. I did two coats but actually would have been fine with one. I think for £4.59 you actually can't go wrong here!

So we have decided to change things a little, instead of reviewing four products every week we are thinking about mixing it up from week to week. Sometimes doing one, other times doing a mini haul. For example this is a product that I picked up in New York that I am craazzzyyy about so I felt it deserved its own  post. Other weeks there will be products that can share the limelight. Anyway let us know what you think about changing it around!

So this Macadamia deep hair masque is something I've wanted to try out for ages. People have been raving about it online and I wanted in on the action, so you can imagine how happy I was to find it at a bargin price in Nordstrom Rack on a recent trip to New York. I've used it twice since I brought it and I LOVE it. It's so so so good, I've tried a lot of hair masques from different brands and i've never been blown away at all--they're always good, but not great.  I often feel like using words like 'deep repair' are a bit cheeky, what they should actually say is 'semi-helpful'. Not this beauty! It does exactly what it says on the pack, it really gave my hair a deep condition. My barnet is quite damaged by the ol' heat and recent colouring so it was in real need of some love and this conditioner does exactly that. The second time I used it, I left it on for about 15 minutes and sat in the sauna with it.... Now this my friends did more than repair my hair, I honestly felt like I'd had a hair transplant!! It instantly felt smoother and looked cared for and shiny. After using twice it has heavily reduced frizz, static, dry ends and general dullness.

I couldn't rave about this anymore, I have quite dry to frizzy hair, so would definitely recommend it to any of you that have a similar hair type. But would love to know what others think of it as well?

Products: Victoria's Secret

So this isn't the usual Products: Used, Using, Use. Instead, this Monday it's all about Victoria's Secret. Whilst in the States I got completely sucked in by VS and spent a little too much money, in the hope of transforming into an Angel. Of course this didn't happen, but this hasn't detered me. I am hooked and totally in love with everything I got. They run a deal where you can buy 5 products for $30, which is pretty amazing if you ask me. Here's what I got...

I have only used each product once or twice but I already know that I won't be able to pick a favourite. They are so luxurious feeling with such feminine scents. I love that the packaging and colours are super girly and even though they are essentially really cheap, they haven't cut back on quality at all. I can already tell that I'm going to want to buy more as soon as these start to run out... if not before!

Week eleven: Used, Using, Use

You might notice a change in location for this snap! I am in New York and have rented an amazing little apartment in Manhattan, so this little shelf is going to host this Monday's products. This week everything will also be in dollars as they are all pieces I've picked up in the US.

Herbal Essences, Body Envy, $6.27: Product of the week Obsessed with this conditioner! I haven't used Herbal Essences in years but I'm sooooo glad I tried it again. I honestly thought I had still left the conditioner in as my hair felt so silky. When I realised I hadn't and this was just the wonderful after effects of my $6 purchase I was almost tempted to yell "Yipeee" in the shower! I actually used this like 5 minutes before doing this review and I feel like it definitely deserves the product of the week title!

Jergens, Ultra Healing body cream, $3.24: I had never even heard of Jergens before my trip here, but it seems to be a pretty popular product and I needed something to use on a daily basis (as i forgot to pack a body cream.) I think for the super affordable price this product is pretty good! I've used it every day for the past week and it's doing just fine. I don't know if I would necessarily call it "Ultra Healing" but as a good every day body cream it's perfect. 

Bumble and bumble, Surf spray, $25.00: I love that you can pick up Bumble and Bumble in local pharmacies (stocked at most Duane Reades.) So on a little trip whilst picking up essentials I also picked up the surf spray. I have always really wanted to try it but for some reason never quite gotten round to it. So in short, I lovveeee the way it makes your hair look, but kinda hate how it feels. It gave my usually curly/frizzy hair a lovely beachy wavy look--but to touch it, it feels dry and a little crispy. Surf Spray, you and I are set to have a love/hate relationship.

Ojon, leave in glossing cream, $24:  I unfortunately can't find the exact link to this product, I brought it in a local Ricky's and I LOVE it!! It's a little on the pricey side but it's totally worth the money. It's left my hair feeling really soft and glossy--the consistency is quite light but this is great for me as I don't like products to sit too heavily in my hair. It also smells really good, which as you know is always a winner.

Week Ten: Used, Using, Use

L'oreal Elvive, Smooth & Polish Shampoo, £3.99: I bought this as it was on offer at the time and with it I got the frizz free conditioner (mentioned here) which I love. This I like but it's not amazing. I wouldn't say that it has left my hair particularly polished but I'm not against persevering in the hopes that it will.

Aveda, Stress- fix body lotion, £27.00: Another great product for Aveda this week. I use this in the evening as the smell of Lavender is super relaxing, the lotion is quite thick and that's why its perfect to use before going to bed, to give your skin an intense moisturise over night.

Bliss, Fabulips sugar lip scrub, £12: I love the product names that Bliss use and I love that they are a fun girly brand. This product didn't disappoint. I'd never used a lip scrub before and have been really keen to try one out. I like this as it feels great and really exfoliates without being to rough. It's got a gorgeous nutty scent (no you can't eat it Chloe) and after using twice my lips already feel smoother.

L'oreal, GlamShine Stain Splash in '400 eve' £7.99: Product of the week These have been incredibly popular on the blogs recently and it seems everyone is raving about them, so when I got the opportunity to try this one out i was already really excited. Firstly they are a great high street alternative to the YSL glossy Stains and honestly I wouldn't say that there is a huge difference. The packaging of the L'oreal stain is really chic and minimal, which I love! I also really like how long lasting the product is, as I'm quite lazy and often completely forget to reapply during the day, this gloss is perfect for me. This shade of pink is beautiful and has a great creamy feeling on the lips. This is by far of my favourite products on rotation at the moment

Korres, Fig body butter, £12.50: Product of the week Honestly was temped to just write, AMAZING! and call it a day there. This body butter is just.... well, yeh, amazing! Another great word for it is luxurious. It's a great thick butter that is literally nourishing your skin. It's jam packed with goodness (fig, almond oil, avocado oil and a ton more!) and is the sort of thing you know is just good and healthy. The smell is as above (amazing) and for someone with a tendency to dry skin, this butter couldn't be better. I really can't rave about this enough!

Vitamin E, Exfoliating body scrub, £2.99: This is a good affordable body scrub. It does exactly what it says on the pack and considering I'v'e had it for so long its lasted forever. 

Aussie, Frizz Miracle conditioner, £4.49: Generally I really like Aussie products and that's why I thought I'd give this a go. Whilst I feel like this is a really nice conditioner, I don't know that it's necessarily a miracle for beating frizz... well at least not my level of frizz.

Aveeno, bath and shower oil, £5.46: I love this product and have been using it for years, it cleanses and moisturises at the same time. This is something, again, that is great for dry skin and is super duper natural. For me Aveeno products are always a staple and are guaranteed to be amazing quality.

Week Eight: Used, Using, Use

Redken, Rough Clay 20: Now this exact product has actually been discontinued, which for its loyal fans is I'm sure, really disappointing. I only occasionally use a tiny bit of this, when I want to add more texture to my hair. It's lasted forever and I really like it! I have linked the replacement to the Rough Clay 20, however reviews say it's not as good. Booo!

Molton Brown, Thermal Muscle Soak, £19: This is one of my favourite post workout bath products. The Silverbirch extract mixed with the thermal salts really allows your muscles to totally repair whilst relaxing in the bath. It has a woody scent (which I love) and turns the water green, not that this is an overly important fact, but something I thought I'd share with you. This is a product I will definitely buy again, from a brand I really like.

Cath Kidston, Blossom hand lotion, £10:Product of the week Smells so good, as it's mixed with Shea butter it's incredibly nourishing, the packaging of course is really cute. The Cath can do no wrong.

The Sanctuary, body lotion, £5.50: I love that this is a travel size body lotion, I generally use it after showering at the gym and I like that my skin absorbs it really well. It leaves my skin feeling very moisturised and has a great shine to it. That said, it's not my favourite body lotion by any stretch.

Week Seven: Used, Using, Use - Minis

Dermalogica, Skin Hydrating Masque, £31.90:  Product of the week: this product is just amazing! I am such a face mask fanatic and have tried loads from a ton of different brands and this is one of my favourites  The Masque goes on clear and instantly hydrates your skin (Which is brilliant for my dry skin.) The only problem I have with this product is the unfortunate price tag!! That said I think it's worth every penny, so I savour it and like to use once a month or for long haul flights, a great tip from the lovely Lisa Eldridge. 

Baylis and Hardin, Bath Salts: I'm sorry I cant seem to find a price/direct link to this as I got it as a gift. I've only used it a handful of times, so far the scent is gorgeous and feels super soft on your skin. Nothing bad to report!

FCUK, Body Souffle, £8: I actually didn't like this at all. It's too heavily scented for me and the texture of the souffle isn't great. I wouldn't buy this again.

Chanel, Pure Shine Long Wear Lipgloss, £25: Now it was such a hard week to pick the best product as I seriously love this lipgloss, and up against anything else it probably would have won, but anyway. I have two colour ways, Genie and Fatalie. Pictured here is Fatalie, its an amazing deep red and the colour lasts forever. What I love is that it's not too glossy and the perfect middle ground between a stick and a gloss. This is a product that i think is totally worth the price tag.

Aveda, Smoothing body polish £23: Product of the week Aveda products aren't cheap but they are definitely an investment. Packed with natural ingredients that are amazing for your skin. As a company, I love Aveda's beliefs. They of course don't test on animals, all packaging is 100% recycled and 90% of their ingredients are organic. Defo check here for more information on this, it's super interesting and inspiring. Back to the product, it smells amazing and after using a few times I love the way it makes my skin feel. Totally worth the money.

Balance me, pure face wash, £16: Iv'e been super faithful to my Bodyshop Vitamin E face wash, but I think my skin has been getting a little too used to it, so I decided to try something else. This face wash is really invigorating and refreshing and really feels like its cleansing your face. My skin felt instantly tighter, which it's been missing recently. Would highly recommend this product and I'm really looking forward to trying more from Balance Me.

Welda, Wild rose deodorant, £7.95: I did an intensive 20 day bikram yoga session and brought this at my first class. It worked perfectly for those very zen-like 20 days, but since exiting my hot yoga bubble I've returned to the cheap and cheerful, high street brand deodorants. 

Bliss, Body butter, £20.50: Smells great, feels nice. But nothing to shout about.

The Bodyshop, Spa Fit toning concentrate, £18: Product of the week Another amazing product, from the company that I still believe can do wrong, The Bodyshop. This lotion is part of the brands Spa Fit range, which are great post work out treatments. I have been using this on problem areas for me (thighs) and I do feel that they look firmer and the skin looks a lot tighter. The product is a gel, it feels and smells, super refreshing. Another Bodyshop fave!

Ted Baker, Body Wear lotion, (Similar here): Gorgeous scent, but not fantastic for moisturising the skin.

Dolce & Gabbana, Wild green nail polish, £18.50: I love the tone of this green, and it has been a constant during the winter season, I think it will cross over to summer though and will look lovely with a tan. I have two colours from Dolce and feel they are a great non-chip polish that even with one coat look really strong and shiny. A definite investment.

Label M, Hair polish, £9.50: I love the size of this as it's perfect to throw in your handbag and use throughout the day. The serum itself is not too bad, I've only used it a few times and I feel like it does the job. I'm not blown away but would be keen to see what their other products are like.

Week Five: Products, used, using use

L'oreal, Anti-frizz conditioner, £1.95: Product of the week I am a bit of a L'oreal virgin, aside from the odd can of Elnett, I am yet to enter the world of Loreal hair. But I decided I wanted to be 'worth it' too, hence the purchase of the conditioner. I have only used it twice, but both times after drying my hair it's been bouncing ringlets oppose to frizzing 'fro. This makes me very very happy! The fact that it's on offer at Superdrug at the moment makes me even happier....Go get this!!!

 Johnsons, shower and shave cream £2.34: Now this little wonder... I can't remember whether or not I purchased it at at a beauty sample sale or the pound shop. Both environments follow a strict everyman for themselves policy when it comes to getting a bargin! Anywho, this little shaving cream cum shower gel is a regular fixture in my gym bag! I'm kind of sad its nearly finished as its great and does exactly what it says on the label, I like a straight forward product!

Super, Brighting activator, £28.50: Ahh I really wanted to love this product, but sadly i dont! I love the packaging and the ingredients (Melon) sound delicious, but I found it quite strong on the tingling front and also smells quite chemically- generally a no go area for me.

Estee Lauder, eye cream, £38: This eye cream is really good. Smells wonderful, feels soft and silky on your skin and after using it for a couple of weeks, I do feel brighter eyed and bushy tailed.....

Tigi, s-factor sleep wonderful, £20.50: This is an intense treatment, designed to put on the hair the night before your washing it and then wash out when you wake up. Sadly the intentions of 'intense repair' were not really met in my case, in fact there wasn't much difference at all :(

Gazelli, triple youth face mask, £28: This product holds quite a hefty price tag but I think that's because you only need a tiny amount each time you use this mask. I've only used it a couple of times but so far I only have good things to say! I go through stages of having quite sensitive skin so I like the fact that this mask is super gentle and feels really soft on my face. It definitely made my skin feel tighter and brighter and I think this is down to the high antioxidant ingredients. Whilst I'm really liking this product I don't know if the £28 is justified....

John Frieda, Frizz ease curl definer, £5.29: Now my review of this product is a strange one, I'm giving it a 'LOVE' because it is a truly great product that has been around for ages, that said, it's not great on my hair! This products works really well for slightly frizzy hair, like slight fly aways.... I however, have a full on frizz-bomb fro, not so great! But I'm aware that 90% of high street products aren't so great on my level of frizz, so it would be unfair to not give this product the props it deserves. I do use this everyday (as well as a ton of other stuff) and it's a great styling product that is so affordable and really does last for ages.

Soap & Glory, No clogs allowed, £11 Product of the week: Totally love this product! For starters fun, girly packaging..what's not to love?! I think I've said previously that I have weak spot for anything that warms up (which this little delight does) and it's a great super, super deep treatment! I'm sadly quite prone to blackheads and using this once or twice makes such a difference! You can use this product as a facewash or a face mask depending on how badly you need it, love anything that doubles up, right?! If your based in the UK, Boots often do a 2 for 1 deal on Soap and Glory products so defo go treat yourself.

Something else to add, I always snap these on the top of the cabinet that holds most of my beauty bits and pieces, here it is below!

Week three of products: used, using, use 

Biore, warming anti blackhead cleanser, £3.49: For some reason I am a sucker for anything warming, which pretty much sums up the reason for purchasing this product. It feels great on the skin, is scent free and a fun blue colour. That said it hasn't been super effective in reducing the unwanted blackheads.

St Tropez, gradual tan moisturiser, £14.30: Product of the week Amazing! In the winter months my skin looses any type of natrual glow and instead I turn this sort of puke yellow/translucent colour (yeah it's gross!) So sometimes a little help is just what a gal needs. I've tried a few tanning creams but this is for sure my favourite for many reasons... a) scent free (not the usual horrible tanning smell) b) it hasn't stained my hands at all c) after using it only 3 times my skin has a really nice healthy glow d) no streaks, patches, tango effect in sight.

Revlon, Nail polish 310 'Timeless' $4.99:  Now I have given you the price in dollars because a) I know some of our lovely readers are American but also as far as I know this colour isn't yet sold in the UK, which is SUCH a shame. This has to be one of my favourtie colours ever -- it really is a very chic, timeless shade of grey that more or less works for absolutely every occasion/outfit.

Lancome, bi facial eye make up remover, £21: Sadly i havent been moved by this product -- it's ok, but kind of just ok. I find local pharmacy products to be just as effective for 1/3 of the price. Generally I love Lancome, but in this case it just wasn't working for me

Elizabeth Arden, 8-hour cream £25: Well this is a product that of course needs no introduction, This miracle cream works on just about everything - i find it especially amazing in this winter weather for chapped lips and dry skin. This is my 2nd bottle and i couldn't rave about it enough, it's definitely a handbag essential. 

Victoria Secret, Forbidden Fantasy fragrance (similar here) £15: This is a product that i have grown to really like. Its great for when you don't want a scent thats to heavy but just something light, refreshing and girly. 

Ojon, damage reverse serum £16: Product of the week This is seriously a little pot of joy! My ends get quite frizzy and dry (especially after recently colouring my hair) so i use this every other morning before styling. I have been doing 2-3 drops and rubbing my hands together, the serum warms up and the added plus is that your hands smell amazing. I've been using this for about a fortnight and i really like what its doing to my hair, i've heard great things about the shampoos and conditioners so will be giving them a try next!

Seche Vite £10.95: This is the fastest drying topcoat i have ever used, it dries your nails in under a minute. The finish is super high gloss so your mani pretty much looks like glass (brilliant!) my only fault would be that it doesn't last as long as i'd like as it chips really easily.

So a little weekly blog segment has begun,

These are a few products that we've either just used, are currently using or use all of the time

Bumble and Bumble Alojoba conditioner £23.50: Ahhh I have been so excited about trying the Bumble and Bumble products. It feels like everyone and their mothers are raving about the cool New York brand so I have officially jumped on the bandwagon. This conditioner firstly smelled amazing, I used quite a lot as I have ridiculously curly (frizzy hair) that's quite thick and I wanted to really condition the birds nest that was developing on my head, I left this conditioner in for 2-3 minutes and rinsed out. I could almost instantly notice that my hair was much shinier than it had been and felt really soft. So far so good, i think im going to try something from the curl conscious range next! 

Welda Pomegranate body lotion £21.95: This is my second bottle of this lotion (this is a good sign) it feels great on the skin, I suffer from quite dry skin so I quite appreciate the fact that it's thick, with an oily sort of base. It smells as good as you can imagine and I'm always a fan of natural, lovely goodness.

Body shop drops of youth £22: Sadly I haven't been most impressed with this product. As a general, I'm kind of the biggest fan ever of the Bodyshop, I pretty much think they can do no wrong and 90% of my skincare routine is theirs. However after using these drops I don't feel that much more youthful looking that I did pre drops. Moral of the story is that we should stop trying to reverse the clock and celebrate the aging process gracefully (especially as I am scaresly in my mid 20's)

Benefit, 'they're real mascara' £18.50: Product of the week Do believe the hype, this little pot of joy literally does everything it claims to do. Curls, lengths, thickens, stays clear of clumps. AMAZING! I used to be a die hard fan of the Dior backstage, but my heart has been stolen.
