My New Years resolution

So my new years resolution was to use our beloved postal service a little bit more. What with text, emails, whatsapp, fb and any other @ing service i actually couldn't remember the last time i took the time to write someone a letter. Now i know its hideously archaic to even consider using pen and paper, but personally i'm a huge fan. Unfortunately the majority of post coming through my letter box these days isn't a cheery love note but more a tax bill or some other disappointing ink - and might i add nothing is ever hand written. So i started the year of right and sent a care package to a pregnant friend, full of herbal teas, body lotions and a ton of other feel good treats. Yes, i could have given this to her over coffee, but i opted for posting it, and she was over joyed when a non de script box arrived at her door one morning.

I've requested some of my nearest and dearest's home addresses, purchased a pack of cards/envelopes (above) and a book of 1st class stamps. Im ready to go. I don't think we need to be separated by any great distance (thats what skypes for) to send a little, thanks for being brilliant card. How lovely would it be to receive one of these pastel notes in and amongst the mundane bills and local takeaway leaflets.
