Lulu Lemon Neoprene Bag

We love this from "class to glass" bag by Lulu Lemon. It's the perfect bag to go straight from a yoga session, to meeting the girls for a cheeky vino! The shape and neon detail make it feel really on trend without comprising the size--making it perfect to throw in your sneakers, a change of tee and all other necessities.  Um so yeh, basically we are two clicks away from purchasing this right this instant.

Simple Sandals

We hope we are not getting too ahead of ourselves but in both London and New York it's starting to feel like summer might be on its way. The last two weekends have been lovely, so even though it's drizzling outside today, we think a touch of optimism is just what Mr. Sunshine needs right now. So here are a few flat sandals we have our beady eyes on at the moment. Perfect for long summer days...

1) Zara £49.99
2) Bershka £19.99
3) H&M £12.99
5) Nasty Gal £50.90
7) Schuh £40

Kickin' It With Ruby Woo

Yesterday I had a great day with a new client. I spent the morning creating mood boards for her and in the afternoon we headed out to the shops for a 'trying on' session. I knew it would be a a busy day with lots of rushing about so I opted for comfort--which to me could mean nothing other than an oversize tshirt.

Something I Worked on Earlier

Photography: Gianni Diliberto
Model: Becca @Elite
Make Up: Amy Stewart
Styling: Me :) Chloe Forde

I just thought I'd share a shoot that I styled a few weeks back here in London. I lovveee working on Seamless Styling but my heart always lies with being a stylist. I love how fun the process is and how beautiful the images are. This was a really fun shoot and Becca was brilliant, considering it was freezing outside and we only had 2 hours to shoot everything!

Dotty for Polka Dots

Whilst I didn't go to New York to shop, I obviously couldn't help but pop in to a few. I mean it would be rude not to, right? Namely my absolute favourite shop, possibly of all time, Century 21. Not to be confused with Forever 21, Century 21 is the holy grail of discount shopping.  Housed over 6 floors, it offers delights from bedding to home foot spas to Alexander Wang shoes. I tell you, they have everything! Anywho, I digress, amongst a trolly load of stuff (home foot spa included) I got these jeans for a ridiculous 30 dollars... Basically forcing me to buy them with those kind of prices. As soon as I tried them on I loved the fit, the soft denim, the cut and most importantly I NEEDED these spots in my life.

Don't Make Me Blush

Top Odille
Blazer Cartonnier
Shoes Versace

Keeping everything monochromatic is another great way to rock a white jean. A blush tone silk top and equally as petal-light pink blazer makes these jeans really pop. I told myself, "Damn Claire, you look rich" when seeing this. No shame. I felt rich. And these vintage Versace's found in a thrift shop in Switzerland added to the wealth of feelings I had in this outfit.

Bold & Bright

Top Theory
Bag Vintage (found in mom's closet, now kept in mine)
Shoes Ellen Tracy (similar)

White jeans are the perfect pair for a bright statement top. This wide striped linen knit from Theory is a favourite of mine for the warm weather. Dove grey and a bright corally orange, two of my favourite colours in perfect harmony. Paired with an oversize clutch and a pointy toe and this look is good to go.

All American Blues

Tank J.Crew
Shoes Ralph Lauren

White jeans can be styled in any way, and I decided to jump right into the week feeling nautical and preppy. It's the all-American way, naturally. Also, I had the football that the little boy next door had accidentally thrown into my yard, so thought, why not use it before giving it back. Hey, when an opportunity arises...

Crisp, Cool, and Clean

Emmanuelle Alt

Zoe Salanda

Elin Kling

Having recently fallen in love with these lovely ladies with their lovely legs in perfectly effortless white denim I thought "f**k it. I'm doing it too." I may not be 6' tall but once you find the right fit you're good to go. I've decided to show three new white jeans looks this week that are perfect for this new spring weather right the way into summer.

Stay tuned my party peeps xx

With the grey skies finally beginning to brighten I have come out of the wood work of winter blues and am shouting "Colour, let me bathe in your beauty!"

Something my wardrobe is lacking....

Something my wardrobe is definitely lacking is a statement jacket. Like a great piece to be worn with a grey t-shirt and skinny jeans. This is something that Olivia Palermo does really well (really what doesn't this woman do really well) and something I am suddenly lusting after.

These are my favourite on the high street at moment, but now it's deciding which one to get!

£69 Monsoon

Street Style

There is nothing I don't love (want) about this outfit. The colours, the casual yet incredibly chic vibe, textures.... Yeah you get it.

Saturday, 23 February 2013

Well, I wouldn't say no.... Wishlist

Candle, Diptyque, £40
Jumper, Kenzo, £194 aprox
Bag, McQ, £350
Blusher, Nars, £30
Ring, Joomi Lim, £65 aprox

So here's just a few things, that you know, if they're going spare, well then yeah I'll take em! No seriously these are a few things I would absolutely LOVE to have in my possession right this instant.

-Diptyque are my favourite, bar none, on the candle front, I personally always buy mine from John Lewis (never knowingly undersold and all) but you can buy yours from wherever you please.

-Have been drooling over Kenzo, as is every one else, for far too long now, this is ridiculous. I think I'm just gonna take the plunge and make this purchase - I love the print, the colours, the round neck, EVERYTHING!

-It's pink and it's lovely.

- You know I haven't tried any Nars products, I'm not sure why... odd really! Anyway the lovely Leandra Medine mentioned somewhere that she swears by Nars, I'm having a total Man Repeller moment (obsession) this weekend so im definitely going to give this one a go.

- Well this is a beauty statement if ever I saw one. I want this right now, I love rings and feel this would be the perfect February edition.

Rough Around the Edges

Top: Madewell
Jeans: Madewell
Jacket: Sanctuary

Bundling up in the most amazing scarf from Wool and the Gang with casual light layers. Throwing on a leather jacket completes any look. And what about a raffia heel? Don't mind if I do.

Black and Tan

Navy and black--classic and chic. Not the "dressed in the dark" look
Top: Zara
Skirt: Rebecca Taylor
(buy similar)
Stockings: Madewell
Brogues: Steven

Keeping things simple with block neutral colours. The combo of edgy leather with classic brogues is a fun play with the two looks.

Main Road Livin'

Sunglasses: Marc by Marc Jacobs (Similar here)
Tee: Zara
Leather Jacket: Topshop
Gillet: H&M
Jeans: Topshop
Trainers: Superga
Bag: Vintage
Scarf: Kurt Geiger (Similar here)

Today I have a crazy day of back to back meetings with photographers so I am definitely dressed for comfort. I buy a pair of Superga's every season from Schuh as they are the perfect run around shoe for days like today, these are actually a little battered so I probably should buy another pair.

These were snapped early this morning just as I was leaving the house, but my god I am soooo happy that the sun is finally shining, an instant mood elevator!

Day Seven New York Fashion Week F/W 13

Today didn't fully count, the tents were already being taken down, and the only show I went to was Marc Jacobs at the Armory. (Not too shabby if you can only go to one show). After the show I headed to the wrap party my company throws every year so wanted to keep my outfit casual but fun. I decided to go for a retro look. Hope you enjoy!

I straightened my hair. A new look for me, but I like it.
What I wore on Day 7:

Pretty much head to toe Zara

My jeans and top are both from Zara and my boots are my most favourite Ralph Lauren. So comfy, so worn-in, and so perfect for my aching feet

My lipcolour is, you guessed it, Clinique Tender Heart
