A new feature of the Seamless Styling blog is kicking off today. Everyday we will feature a new fashion word of the day chosen from the pages of The Fairchild Dictionary of Fashion.
Because you can always be surprised by something. For instance, who knew there is something called a fearnothing jacket which was designed for sailors in the 18th century. Similar to a waistcoat with sleeves, the fearnothing or fearnaught jacket must've given those men some sort of comfort. We're not super convinced a sleeved waistcoat would've secured us with the feeling of safe seas, but that's why we're happily living on land.
